Cardinals’ free-agent QB Kurt Warner sat down for an interview with ESPN in which he reiterated his desire to remain Arizona’s quarterback, but said the team must offer fair-market value for his services.

Warner went on to say that while he might not be compensated at the highest end of quarterback spectrum, he feels as though he should be paid for not only what he will do next year, but also for what he has done the last few years for the Cardinals organization.

Warner’s 2008 base salary was just $4M, his total compensation for the year totaled just over $8M.

Warner will travel to San Francisco on Monday to meet with the 49ers, one of at least two teams, other than the Cardinals, believed to be interested in Warner.
