The Arizona Cardinals and free-agent, 2-time MVP Kurt Warner have reached an agreement on a 2-year $23M deal. Warner originally proposed the deal yesterday, even offering to contribute $1M/year for the Cardinals to renegotiate Anquan Boldin’s contract.
The deal comes after a long, drawn-out battle which had fans wondering if the Cardinals would re-sign Kurt at all. Warner proposed the $23M deal after returning from his visit with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday.
Warner is guaranteed $19M, receiving a $15M signing bonus and $4M in base salary in the next two season.
