The Arizona Cardinals came out strong in a road game against division rivals the Seattle Seahawks, but faded late. The Cards allowed two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to the Seahawks T.J. Ducket to close the gap from 26-7 to 26-20.

The Seahawks had the opportunity to take the lead on their final drive however Dominique Rogers-Cromartie picked off Matt Hasselbeck’s pass which was intended for Deion Branch with 2:05 remaining in the game to put the breaks on Seattle’s rally.  Rogers-Cromartie’s interception was his second pick of the game.

The Cards were able to put up 10 points in the first quarter and silence the Seahawk’s faithful thanks to a Neil Rackers 38 yard field goal and a J.J. Arrington 4 yard touchdown run. After a 13 yard Maurie Morris touchdown reception from Matt Hasselback, Rackers added two more field goals from 48 and 54 yards in the second quarter to put the Cardinals up 16-7 at halftime.

Arizona continued to bolster its lead in the third quarter when Rackers added his fourth field goal of the game and J.J. Arrington caught a 6 yard pass from Kurt Warner for his second touchdown of the game. Warner was strong again, setting a franchise record by throwing for at least 300 yards in four straight games. He threw for 395 yards on 32/44 passing. Warner’s only touchdown pass of the game was to J.J. Arrington. Kurt threw one interception and lost the ball once to a fumble which was challenged by the Cardinals however, the initial fumble call on the field prevailed.

Warner found Anquan Boldin 13 times for 186 yards, and Larry Fitzgerald 10 times for 151 yards.

Matt Hasselback threw what looked like a game ending interception early in the fourth quarter just as Seattle was threatening to score. However, Karlos Dansby fumbled the ball while attempting to return it, leading to another, this time successful attempt in the red zone for Seattle.

Hasselback was 17/29 on the day, throwing for 170 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions.

The Cardinals advanced to 7-3 for the first time since 1977. They hope to clinch the division title when they face the Giants in Arizona next Sunday. If the Cardinals can win, and Dallas beats San Francisco the Cards will have their first division title since 1975, its first since moving to Arizona from St. Louis.
